tagged together in 26 photos clouds + driving Before the sun set, I drove into town... Hit the road around 9:30am an after an hour of driving, made it to nicer weather. Love me some dramatic sun rays. Woke up at 6am to fly out to San Francisco and after landing... ...we stopped to admire the crazy, checkerboard clouds in the sky. On the drive home through Pennsylvania... ...to fly to Vancouver! After days of cloudiness and rain, it was nice to see a little blue-sky threatening to peek out. I lived in Eagleton, Colorado right near the Red Rocks amphitheater from ages 1-3. On the drive over, I called my parents to get the exact address... Onward home. On Saturday Maddy and I went uptown... Took the backroads home. Sun rays on the ride home. We drove back into Manhattan to return Quinn's car. Starting the bumpy ride back. Kept getting better. Dramatic clouds and rays of sunshine over Manhattan in the distance. The meadowlands is surreal. I must admit. It's sort of interesting to be driving around the corporate office parks of Lindhearst, NJ and suddenly see a crenellated tower rise up out of nowhere. On Monday morning I was up early to fly to Charlotte, NC for work. There was a beautiful sky behind Brooklyn when I was crossing over the East River. And the views of Lake Tahoe from higher up in the surrounding mountains are spectacular. The weather was perfect! George Washington Bridge. Perfect road trip weather. Home! Beautiful end-of-summer NYC weather!
