We made it in the air just in time to watch the last of the sunlight break through the clouds and bathe NYC in peach light. ...a spectacular view of the terraced hillside below. Then a little ways down the road was a much larger lake, Danau Buyan. Here's us doing our best to not squint. Awesome. We left a little before 10am. It was about a thirty-minute boat ride out to the first dive spot. The scenery was amazing. I love how the water turns from deep blue to turquoise. Pretty, right? After we'd finished eating, Mer and I took a quick walk around the shore and admired the view. On the drive back, we decided to find somewhere on the lake to have lunch! We got married in a gazebo on the hill next to the mansion overlooking the lake. After walking along the path next to the lake's shore for a couple of minutes... Lake Tahoe is incredible close up. I've never seen a lake with such bright blue water. Wow. And the views of Lake Tahoe from higher up in the surrounding mountains are spectacular. The weather was perfect! 5:55am, in the air! Beautiful views of the city... Sunday was another picture-perfect day. Check that beautiful upstate vista! Ellen in surburbia. ...and headed for Andy and Pepper's house. George Washington Bridge.
