When we started out, there was no wind and the water was almost glass-smooth. The weather when we started out was perfect. Nothing to see here. Just a totally normal sky! (This is probably just a totally normal -4 C variance that just happens to be shaped like our country, right? !) Double rainbow around the cloudy sun along with a bullseye chemtrail er, contrail. Cloudwave. I finished up six hours later just in time to see the sun go down. Did a little bit of work in the morning and then around noon... We drove back into Manhattan to return Quinn's car. ...but then the clouds rolled in and there was thunder. GTFO. Plane. A little after 2pm, we walked around the corner to see if we could get in on some... Hey, everyone: MOAR CONDOS! ...on a Friday afternoon! I ended up getting introduced to someone there who ended up hiring me for my first major long-term project as a consultant. Let's hear it for showing up! ...the clouds had rolled in and it was a bit too cold... ...so that we could enjoy the evening.... Up early on Saturday morning and rode my bike up to Flatiron... Oh, man. I love Nitro so much. Here we go! ...we'd made it to the (almost totally empty) parking lot. We'd made such good time on the way down that we had plenty of time to set up my camera to try to catch shots of us jumping in the air using the auto-timer. Haha.
