After Grant's face couldn't take anymore shaking, they moved on to documenting...
dlr kick
...Grant's aerial skills! (Kid's still got it!)
dlr kick
I tried to do my best impression of Grant's toe-touching DLR kick and came-up short.
dlr kick
Been re-watching the entire Sopranos while I do my weird made-up yoga routine in my living room. I really loved this (terrible) DLR cameo!
dlr kick
Of course, this led to more jumping action shots! Meredith did the jumping jack while Grant went for the more difficult David Lee Roth version
dlr kick
Scratch that. Multiple DLR kicks...
dlr kick
That came complete with DLR (David Lee Roth) kicks.
dlr kick
...and that's a motherfucking DLR (David Lee Roth) jump-kick!
dlr kick
Fiasco rocked it. And I even managed to grab a (yes, somewhat shoddy) pic of Grant pulling some DLR action on stage.
dlr kick
First DLR high-jump of the year!
dlr kick
Grant has mastered the art of jumping and making "relaxing looking" faces. Most times when I end up doing it, I'm making a face like I'm pooping.

At best, I manage to look surprised.

...better...
dlr kick
Pretty decent...
dlr kick
..Yahtzee! (Check out Meredith screaming in the background. Hahahah).
dlr kick
...aerial magick.
dlr kick
He closed in for the kill with an aerial classic (bonus points awarded for the finger pointing at the ground).
dlr kick
...(even better!) number two.
dlr kick
Not one to disappoint a frenzied crowd, here's one. And...
dlr kick
"Oh! So solly! Robbah Deniro nah here. Only me: Chinee Grant!" BWONG!
dlr kick
Hey, when did Bobby DeNiro show up at the party? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? Huh? Ok.
dlr kick
Each time, the shutter fired early. So while I didn't magage to capture Grant in all of his fully-spread glory (it really is glorious, by the way), I did manage to capture him making three of the best worst faces ever.
dlr kick
DLR (That's Mr. David Lee Roth to you) approves. "WHOA-AHHHH!"
dlr kick
...here he is at the peak! How fucking unbelievable is this picture? As soon as I clicked the shutter I knew I'd managed to capture something magical. Click here to download a full-size, high-resolution version. Because you know you want to set this shit as your desktop wallpaper.

Hahahaha.

After my little nappy nap, Grant and I headed down to Eastern Eye to pick up the enormous order of Indian food we'd ordered for dinner (where I managed to snap this sick-ass photo of Grant's superb rendition of the rarely seen sideways variation of the DLR [that's Mr. Lee Roth, to you son] air kick.)

After we were done with the laser show, he headed back to the streets to look for something fun to do. Having totally given up on any of us scoring some "Haha" for the night, we decided to do what we do best: Take. Stupid. Pictures. Yeah! Here's Grant doing his first DLR-Kick (That's David Lee Roth) on (off?) Cretan soil.
dlr kick
Success! Grant pulls off the slight more difficult "Panama" variation of the DLR kick. Noice!
dlr kick
... their DLR (David Lee Roth) kicks! Check out Grizzle in the background. Haha.
dlr kick
Fuck. I've had my new camera for a few months now and I still can't time the shutter right to capture Grant's now famous DLR kicks. Argh. (But this pic is still noteworthy because I did manage to capture The Ladies' Choice in the background mimicking Grant). After the birthday girl left, we all decided to head north to check out the newly opened club (that used to be SPA), Plaid.
dlr kick
I got a new camera and the shutter timing is different than my old one - so when I went to snap a pic of Grant doing his now famous DLR Splitkick (David Lee Roth), the camera went off early and I instead captured him making this awesome face.

(PS - This is a true story: One time, Grant and I were down at the Jersey Shore and on the way back home, we stopped at a noody bar in Tom's River called Delilah's Den. We were sitting at the bar/stage chatting. One of the dancers came over and struck up a conversation with Grant. She asked where he lived, and after he told her "Chinatown, in Manhattan." She replied, "Oh, yeah. I guess I can kind of see that in your eyes." Seriously, true story.)
dlr kick
Grant tries to get some stranger into the true DLR (that's David Lee Roth) spirit of things by doing a toe-touch jump in the beginning of his performance of Van Halen's "Panama."
dlr kick
One more DLR-kick for good measure. Ahhhhhm Talking about tha Yankee Rose!
dlr kick
Six cheap Canadian beers later, Grant somehow figured out he could really do a DLR-style (David Lee Roth) jumpkick!!! Check out this shit I managed to capture mid-air.
