I'd been working on song sketches and wanted a lesson on how to best polish a few of them up. Later that afternoon I went visit Craig at the Williamsburg School of Music. ...and making song template charts for songs I really like to help me out with my songwriting. (Say It Ain't So by Weezer) Busted out my Chord Wheel book to work on a few songs I was looking to spruce up. Spent the afternoon recording a new song I'd written called "The Point of No Return" (partially inspired by the idea that once you start watching synthetic bizarro porn, there's no going back.) Working on lyrics with my editor. Everyone's a critic. Spent Saturday writing songs and recording in Garageband! Created a page on Soundcloud and posted my first two little song sketches in public. Eek! Worked on writing lyrics for a few songs I'd been kicking around. Been pretty obsessed with songwriting lately. Getting there.
