On Sunday we got caught trying to bring Maddy onto the bus back to NY (NO DOGS ALLOWED!) and we ended up having to wait 2 hours and spend a lot of money to take the train home. (And we still had had to hide her because dogs weren't allowed on the train either!).
The entire yard was filled with little children who were IN LOVE with Maddy but were in constant danger of trampling her tiny wiener body. Meredith eventually came up with a system where she'd put Maddy in a bag and then bend down so the girls could pet her.
Maddy was totally exhausted from all the dogs and was started to fall asleep on her little puppy feet so we had to retire her to her bag. It's a head in a bag! (Sung to the Dick in a Box melody).
Maddy isn't able to run around too long on her puppy legs without getting exhausted. Luckily, we found out that she loves to be carried around in a bag.
After, I went back to Leigh's place to get Edie! Leigh was going away for a few weeks and Meredith and I were going to watch her. Edie LOVES to travel in her bag, as soon as you put it on the ground, she climbs on in. Haha.
On Tuesday evening, Murdo came by to say hi! Check out Hector all bundled up in his backpack! Murdo rides his bike everywhere and this is how Hector travels with him when he's biking! Hahaha. Sooooo good.
