Taking a break before turning around. Later Wednesday evening I biked down to Tribeca to... ...and biked over to midtown again for the third and final day with the Sakyong. Got up early on Sunday morning... Biking home through the East Village... Biked over to Tribecca in the afternoon to meet with a client in person. Ended up at a random, crazy party late late Tuesday night and saw it through to sunrise. HOLY LION GOLDEN FATHER! I didn't take any photos except for this one of my Citibiking home up a totally empty Lafayatte Street at 6am. Upright bike posture! Later that evening Fatty came over for a visit... ...and we went for a bike ride down East River Park. Biked to work through Chinatown. Had a bad day. That afternoon, I biked down to SinglePlatform's offices in the Financial District... Biked back home. Fifteen minutes later, the rain slowed down and I decided to make a break for it while the going was good. ...turned into tiny beach path! It was so much fun to ride under palm fronds right at the water's edge. ...turned into beach road.... The clouds cleared enough for the sun to come out and I rented a bike to explore the island. Headed north until the road... ...and then biked up to 79th Street on the West Side. Time to bike back home. ...and we biked down the east side of Manhattan, rounded the tip of Manhattan... After exploring downtown a bit, we biked up a really long hill to get to... After we'd finished marveling at the exotic marmotini , we headed into Boulder to rent bikes! Biking home! ...Meredith and me on a bike ride... .and my mom led... ...through the pine barrens! Leigh and her new bike, HERCULES. On Friday afternoon I met up with Leigh and Ryan and we went for a ride down the West Side bike path. On Thursday afternoon, my parents were in town visiting from NJ. I rode my bike over to the subway... Monday bike commute to a client in midtown. After dinner, Clayton came over and we went for a night bike ride... ...all the way down East River Park. ...and we had an awesome day of riding our bikes around. No luck turtle spotting but we did get to see some other exciting... On Tuesday I convinced Mer to come out on a bike ride - maybe we'd get to see another turtle! The not-so-exciting Florida landscape got a whole lot more interesting... There's not a whole lot to do in Florida. By day four I was going a little stir crazy so I borrowed the neighbor's bike and my mom and I went for a bike ride. Got up super early on Saturday and biked up to Flatiron... ...and started heading back. Really fun to have an empty, wide-open path where you can pedal around... ...with no hands! On Monday I biked down to the Financial District at 8am... ...and took this selfie only to discover the wind combs my hair like Alfalfa from The Little Rascals. No better case for a helmet was ever made. Bike ride to see a doctor. Turned out to be inflammation of my TMJ. Got better two days later. On Saturday morning, I rode my bike down to Tribeca...
