Later that afternoon Meredith, Gurj and Karen came over for a hang! On Saturday I met up with Karen and Gurj and we saw Phantogram. Hey! Lemme ask you something. Just lemme bend your ear for a second. Issit me or are these edibles not working? I can't tell. Maybe I should have another one? Early morning hang with these ladies I love in Quinn's very cool "pillow room." Walked up to Karen's to hang out with these guys who had made a plan to watch SPORTS! The house had an excellent kitchen. Sunday 11am Slumber party! We set up the tables and chairs in the garage out on the driveway and... It's funny you can just rent someone's house to hang out in. The future is different like that. Van team assemble Met up with these two in the afternoon, and we hit the town to eat and run some errands. Got to the hotel around 5. Been a while since I've had a hotel slumber party with these two! <3 Happy birthday (several weeks later), Karen! ...to celebrate Karen's birthday (observed!). Happy belated, Karen! Tiny's Giant Sandwich. Had friends over for food and drinks Saturday night! Later that evening I walked up to Karen's place to hang with her and Jeet. Before going out for an Indian feast, we made up a sit-com theme song for ourselves. I still remember the words and melody: "We used party ten years ago, and now we're all still friends!" Haha. We face-timed with Karen! Haha. I don't know about cheekbones, but it's definitely a way to make your friend laugh. As the giggles set in, on of the gals told us that the Olsen Twins' secret to always having great-looking cheekbones in their photos is to look at each other and silently say the word "Prune." After breakfast, we got down with a hardcore... Haha. Ladies I love. Which is always just an excuse to hang... Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us! Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... I spent the beginning of October out in Montauk for Ellen & Hans' awesome wedding (lots more pics of that coming soooooon!) Gurj getting to know Mr. Hart! Rare Tompkins reunion with these guys! And had a nice catch-up with these guys! Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! Friend portrait. First the ladies... The house had an amazing back porch. ...and we got treated to some tuneage courtesy of the house guitar. Hung out with these guys afterwards. Later that night I biked to the Coffee Shop in Union Square to have a pre-show dinner with Christina, Sarah, Quinn, Gurj & Karen before walking over to... Like old times. After Saturday's big Halloween night out, on Sunday we went to Lillie's for a Spooky Brunch. OMFG, Quinn, Karen, Gurj and Sarah came in one of the best GROUP COSTUMES I've ever seen: the In Living Color FLY GIRLS . Ahahahahahah. That makes Meredith Sexy Fire Marshall Bill? On Tuesday evening, I went out to the West Village to celebrate Davo & The KTB visiting from London! I took this first photo... Adventure team on the move. Hey!
