Peter Gaston's birthday party (with lots of Peter masks! lol) On Sunday afternoon, a bunch of us went over to Matt's for a gang hang. Everyone brought along something snacky On Sunday Sarah had us all over to Apt 3A... Phone stories! Lol Kim's face. I'm writing this in January of 2021 in the post-Covid era and it's nice to see all these people just chillen in a room. Happy birthday, Kim! <3 Happy birthday (several weeks later), Karen! Jaunty! PRUUUUNE! Works for dudes too, apparently! The prune secret is out! PRUUUUUUUUUUUNE! Hahaha. I don't know about cheekbones, but it's definitely a way to make your friend laugh. As the giggles set in, on of the gals told us that the Olsen Twins' secret to always having great-looking cheekbones in their photos is to look at each other and silently say the word "Prune." Here we go! Getting near the end! After Jenga ended... After the movie, we got into some serious Jenga! Snack party. Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us! Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... I spent the beginning of October out in Montauk for Ellen & Hans' awesome wedding (lots more pics of that coming soooooon!) Aww, buddies! Ok, on to the reception ! Rare Tompkins reunion with these guys! Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! Friend portrait. First the ladies... I spent at least forty minutes sitting on the stone fence watching the tree branches swirl and "breathe." The house had an amazing back porch. Trying to enjoy the last bit of outdoor evening weather! Meredith took a seat... Worn out from partying, pizza and long admiration for Karen's dress... ...everyone was feeling sleepy. The after-party place had giant scorpion bowl drinks... Swimming baby group shot! Strong. Back at the hotel, we all changed into our swimwear... Matt had just gotten back in town for a few months on the road touring. On Tuesday evening, I went out to the West Village to celebrate Davo & The KTB visiting from London! I took this first photo... Class portrait. Haha. ...and then we met up for brunch! ...who rolled around on my bed laughing hysterically. ("What's so funny? Those moves all totally work! I swear!")
