I totally broke my bunch of bananas in two because I wanted to experience the weirdness of feeling her sniff around my hand and then grab the bananas twice!
After we got back to the camp, our trainer asked us if we wanted to feed our elephant and thank her for the ride! When we said yes, he walker her around a little fence thingy - so that she would get over excited about the food and accidentally trample us to death..

Thursday night was my birthday observed! Sarah and Karen were DJing a lot at the Annex and they managed to get the downstairs open a few hours early so we could have a little get together down there before it opened up to the public later that night! (Thanks, you two!)
Meredith handled the rest of the party planning which is how I ended up with a "Monkey-Themed" birthday. Complete with homemade banana-decorated cupcakes...
Every few hundred yards, we'd come to a new type of crop and they'd stop the tractor and the guy who was assisting on the tour would run off into a field and bring stuff back to show us...and sometimes model.
