The software I wrote to manage all my photos and power this site automatically parses-out the timestamp and displays when each photo was taken. This is how I know that this photo was taken at 1:43am. The fact that I can get fries, a delicious falafel and a phylo-dough spinach pie in the middle of the night on a Tuesday is the reason that I'll probably never be able to leave this wonderful, cursed city! The weather was calling for more rain so none of the diving boats were going out. If the weather wasn't going to improve, I decided it was time to leave the beach-town of Placenia and check out another part of Belize. I decided on San Ignacio, a town up in Belize's Cayo District, the country's mountainous rainforest region near the western border shared with Guatemala. I had a bunch of time before my 2pm bus, which I tried to fill with this delicious breakfast by the water's edge. Mmmm.
