Took my parents out for dinner around the corner at Gruppo and fell in love with this!
Strawberries & Pecorino Crostini on toasted ciabatta bread, topped with pecorino cheese, fresh strawberries, fresh basil, and white truffle honey. Fuuuuuuuuuu.
On Saturday afternoon I met up with Meredith in Chinatown for veggie dim sum! When you drink from the little tea cups there, it makes you look like a little piggy!
We went to the park across the street and chowed down! Just because it's one-hundred degrees doesn't mean you shouldn't eat piping hot, extra-spicy food!
Later that evening, I met up with Grant for a drink at Tom & Jerry's and we ended up walking over to the West Village afterwards to get a late night...
Later that night I went out to a veggie restaurant by myself and treated myself to a 4-course feast at the delicious (and now sadly closed) Table Verte. Beet salad...

The fact that I can get fries, a delicious falafel and a phylo-dough spinach pie in the middle of the night on a Tuesday is the reason that I'll probably never be able to leave this wonderful, cursed city! I braved the cold for this delicious meal in order to fuel...
Grant was getting ready to go back to Vancouver for a few weeks so we met up for some late night pie at the (disappointingly short-lived) L'asso East Village. Despite being so full of pizza that I could barely walk...
The weather was calling for more rain so none of the diving boats were going out. If the weather wasn't going to improve, I decided it was time to leave the beach-town of Placenia and check out another part of Belize. I decided on San Ignacio, a town up in Belize's Cayo District, the country's mountainous rainforest region near the western border shared with Guatemala. I had a bunch of time before my 2pm bus, which I tried to fill with this delicious breakfast by the water's edge. Mmmm.
