The meal was pretty solid. ...and was back in the air for another three and a half hours. ...and gorge myself on beers... ...and all sorts of slices of fancy assorted sammiches. ...a whole nother grill. ....so much food! Late night I ordered my favorite chicken sandwich from Georgia's Eastside BBQ (with mac & cheese, baked beans and cornbread) Uggggh. Miss this place so much. Can't stop fucking with that Georgia's East Side BBQ Nashville Chicken sandwich. Mmmmm. Had reiki and another culinary adventure with Kevin on Wednesday. After weeks of going BBQ, Kevin called a wildcard and we got Halal Guys. ...and mix it all together. Lamb chicken combo on rice. Mmmmm. Gotta get lots of white sauce and hot sauce... Had an Ethiopian feast for dinner. Had a reiki and southern BBQ feast from Georgia's East Side BBQ (RIP!) with Kevin in the evening! On Thursday night we met up on the West Side because for Gurj's birthday last month I'd surprised her with tickets to see... ...while I put the groceries away. Jared and company whipped up a Memorial Day BBQ style feast for dinner. Afterwards, we took Lizzy out for a celebratory meal at Souen! Had a double-entre late night victory feast from Odessa. A cheeseburger with onions & swiss and an entire container of penne vodka because WHY NOT? (Also, I think the chef added way too much actual vodka because I actually got DRUNK eating this pasta and I don't think that's supposed to happen??) ...I got the breakfast burrito! ...breakfast sandwich! Mmmm, Paquito's burrito with sopasilla with honey & cinnamon on top for dessert! ...to grab a giant sandwich at Sunny Annie deli.... Buttered toast with honey after a long dog walk. Pancakes & milkshake for dinner is my ultimate comfort flex. ...and had late night pancakes, eggs & bacon from Odessa. (RIP!) ...you get to have 2 sandwiches for lunch. Mmmm. Meatball and turkey club. If you pump enough iron... Check out the awesome spread! Oh, just your standard Italian dinner for one courtesy of Lil Frankies. (Salad, portobello, chicken parm, pasta and mozzarella and tomato panini for good luck) Met up with Vin for a big breakfast at Odessa on Friday morning. While eating my Sunday croissant, I received an email from my realtor telling me... And ended the night with a Thai feast from Thai Terminal! Went to Odessa for some afternoon winter borst because I am an old man like that. Got me a side of Ethiopian spring rolls! On Saturday night I picked up an Ethiopian feast. Met up with Vin for lunch at Quantum Leap in the West Village. I'm gonna need a burrito an some guac for this! Went to Vietnamese with Amanda in Chinatown. ...and then headed home for an early night and a Japanese Curry. Unnnnngh so good. ...and ate at Dojo by myself! Went to Sunny Annie deli for a tricked out sammich and lots of fruits and seaweed! ...but hey, THAI FOOD! It was a nice night so we walked towards my place looking for a restaurant that would take a last-minute party of three. We lucked out at a Mexican place on Bowery. ...makes me laugh that they both always call me Mr. Brian. ...and then we headed over to Shake Shack for lunch. ...to my apartment in the East Village! ...it was time for breakfast! Treated myself to a Thai lunch (like a hug from the inside!) All the talk about Thailand definitely meant I had a hankering for a Thai curry the next night! OMG Curry Ya chicken curry and a mango lassi is my autumnal JAM. She whipped up a delightful vegetarian feast! I also ate a burger with an egg on it. Ate a fancy beet infused burrata all by myself on the way home. Back in the city on Thursday and went out for veggie ramen! After, we hit a nearby diner for lunch. We grabbed lunch a bar we passed... Post-midnight hotel room service dinner for the win. Had a delicious lunch while.... Picked up a plane meal. She made up blueberry pancake breakfast... Met up with Leilei on Wednesday for lunch and life catchup! Kevin came over for reiki and an empanada feast! ...for dim sum! ...and eat a Middle Eastern feast! ...and unpacked all our beach treats! Got back from my trip to Maine! Meredith came over bearing gifts from... While I was in midtown I stopped by Koreatown to TREAT MYSELF to a bi bim bab feast. Ugh. (Just captioning this photo is going to make me have to go there tonight now. Fuck). Destroyed an footlong sandwich while watching.... Peanut Butter Bomb cake slice for dessert, omg. Thai lunch mega-feast while gorging my eyes... ....fuuuuuuu. I'm sorry I probably left buttery face prints on your pillow. Oh man was this delicious! After supper... Gurj came over Monday night for an Empanada party! We got the FOUR-CHEESE duk bok ki. (Soooo good) Later that night I walked over to St Marks and met up with Amanda for Korean food at Boka. Chocolate cake with coconut cream? Fuuuuuu ...a bulk-order of food I'd placed with them! Bread, fresh mozz, asparagus, balsamic, truffle honey & strawberries for lunch. *drools* Organic Grill salads are my fave! Got an iced coffee and a Bun Cha Gio (Vermicelli with Spring Rolls) at my fave Vietnamese place. Mmmm, work from home lunch! Wash it down with some muffins! Put it on the toast! ....a dinner fit for a (camping) king! Came back home and made pancakes one at a time until I was full. ...two of my favorite breffis sammich. Sunday morning toast & fruit breffis! Grabbed a solid Friday Odessa lunch with Grant. (Back 2 back Odessa for the win!) Woke up to the remnants of a late-night Odessa feastin ...for FRIED PICKLES and fruity DRANKS! When Hardee's is the only walkable choice! Oh yeah, Alabama! Love me a vacation breakfast. Train lunch. ...and a pizza!
