Someone walked over to my building and then up my stairs to hand me this delicious meal of bufala rigatoni and a giant portobella marinated in balsamic and this is why it will be really hard for me to ever leave New York, you beautiful terrible trap. On Friday afternoon, I met up with my friend Happy in Chinatown and she took me to Chego for lunch. Korean / Mexican fusion food. So weird and delicious. Thai feasted so hard and fell into a deep beach sleep. ...for a lovely dinner of lots of small plates. Beach breakfast sandwich. Dinner... ...and we had a nice summer dinner on the back porch! Exchanged reiki with Kevin and then we ate incredible deli sandwiches from Sunny Annie Deli. (I was all about showing everyone the delicious "2013") Swirly goodness Work lunch. I love me some Pret. Went and got a massage, and on the way home stopped into the Filipino-specialty store called Johnny Air Mart in order to pick up some Filipino-snacks to surprise Jane Anne with. Ding Dong snack mix! I remember this from my trip to the Philippines !) While I can't get down with the Ube, I can most certainly get down with an ensaymada. Butter-cheese fantastic! Breffis! Saag Paneer dinner. Egg sammich from Barnyard. On Saturday morning, my parents took me out to Denny's for a goodbye breakfast... The breakfast was OUTSTANDING! I'm always impressed by my friends' cooking! Cheesy bread! Up and at 'em for group breakfast at 10am! Veggie Bahn Mi... Heady stuff. I'm gonna need some Pad Thai to help with the absorption ...for a Wednesday afternoon lunch feast... ...a Korean feast at Boka! On Friday, I found myself feasting back at Ellen & Hans'! Slamming lunch from Westville East! So many lasagnas. ...and all the fixins! Organic Grill burns their logo into their veggie burgers now. Whaaa? ...Chinese Feasting... Had a nice Odessa Saturday catch-up with Grant after spending Thanksgiving with my family in Hilton Head, SC ...with a giant hot bowl of chili! Look at the spread!
