On Tuesday I decided to play hookey from work and head to Six Flag's Great Adventure with Dennis, Karen and Natasha! They were filming Across the Universe (the forthcoming Beatles musical) in our neighborhood and a bunch of the vehicles from the movie were parked on the corner of Dens' block! (BTW, not only is Dennis' web site the inspiration for this web site, he's also a much more responsible blogger than I am. Case in point, he posted his diary entry about this day like 2 years ago when it happened.)
And immediately perked up when we saw the prize they were offering in one of those "leave your business card" drawings. Makes you think twice about ordering a "glazed" doughnut there, right? Ew.
