tagged together in 12 photos bridge + east river Jane Anne came and met up with us and we took a family photo down by the water. East River park with the hound! While walking Maddy near the East River on Wednesday, the river was covered with a drifting mist of dust... ...making cement and loading it onto boats to bring over to Manhattan skyscraper construction sites! ...from the concrete plant across the river... ...and take the ferry over to check out Governor's Island. The bridges are lovely at night. A little after 3pm, a bunch of dark clouds rolled in, the temperature dropped significantly and we had to high-tail it back to not get caught in a torrential rainstorm! Totally crazy. ...doing all sorts of high-speed maneuvers around and underneath the bridges in the East River. We spend the next half an hour... Coming up on the Brooklyn Bridge!
