Here's the view from middle of the journey where the gondola is at it's peak height of 1,430 feet above the ground. (To put that in perspective, the Empire State Building is1,454 feet tall)
On Thursday night I headed out to Geordon's birthday party at BEast. Meredith was going through a glass-etching phase and gave me this martini glass with Geordon's name etched into it!
And this picture pretty much sums up how my head felt as I got out of the cab and walked back to my apartment. Note to self: Sleep more. Happy Birthday Niki and Katie!
After getting out we headed down to sub-mercer to say hi to my friend Peter who was spinning. Joey ended up buying a drink (which at sub-mercer is like $12). So after we leave the club, he all pulls these two glasses out from under his shirt. When we asked him why he took them, he dropped science explaining "If I'm going to pay that much for a drink, I'm going to keep the glass.....er, plus some other glass too."
