Amy called Jen up to stand next to the beautiful cake she made. I love Amy's expression and how she's pointing at the cake and at Jen like "She made this! I know!"
Later that night after unpacking some more, I headed out to Park Slope to meet Jen, Amy and Jess for a drink at a bar called The Gate. (When I moved to NYC in 2000, I lived in Gowanus, BK with Amy and The Gate was like the only bar around back then!). Here's me and Jen!
Back in Roxbury later that night we ended up going to Muldoon's Saloon to meet up with a bunch of my friends from high school. Here's Rob Berliner and Jen Hoche.
