On Tuesday night, Grant came in from Canada! He arrived with the newest issue of The Walrus (which is like the Canadian version of The Atlantic that contained a feature he wrote questioning why Candians should have loyalty to the Royal Queen. Congrats!
While I was waiting at the airport, I got a call from Grant who told me that the article he'd written for Muscle & Fitness magazine, From Geek 2 Freak, had just come out and that I should try to find it on the stands. On Thursday afternoon Grant and I met up for lunch at the Homestyle Cafe (where we pretty much ate lunch together every single day for like 2 years when we worked at Nerve.com / Spring Street). He had a meeting later that week with his friend that's now an editor and Glamour and I was going to try to help him brainstorm and come up wtih story ideas he could pitch.
