At one point, we were driving with the windows down laughing and talking and all of sudden a pack of (incredibly loud) motorcyles screamed past us doing well over 130 MPH. I managed to get my camera out in time to catch the tail end of the last rider as he sped past us.
Hailing a cab back to Manhattan. A couple weeks later someone I know got permanently disfigured when an elderly woman ran a stop sign and t-boned him riding his motorcycle...and I never bothered to reschedule my test.

This time I managed to get the bike back in one piece (I had a teeeeny leeetle mishap during my 2nd lesson) and Danny felt that I'm driving well enough that he scheduled me for my road test (on May 23rd). If I pass that, I'll get my license and then I'm planning on buying my own bike. Shhhhh! Don't tell my mom
