tagged together in 14 photos snow + whistler Waiting to drop in. It's fun to stand at the top and watch people turn into ants as they go down. At the top of the mountain, we kept our boards off so that we could hike up and find some less traveled snow. It's hard to get a sense of just how big this face is; but if you look closely, you can make out tiny specks that are people! Grant standing in front of a 10'+ snow drift of recent snowfall. Not many people at all. Amazing. Morning snow shower. Later that afternoon it was snowing near the top of the mountain again. Grant leading the way through. Riding through the trees in deep snow is sort of awesomely terrifying. You have to try to keep your speed up so you don't sink and get stuck, but you also don't want to go too fast, because, duh, trees. So much snow! It snowed all afternoon. Each time we got off the lift there was fresh snow! Unbelievable.
