I think I mentioned this earlier, but in Crete cats are like squirrels. They run around everywhere and people just feed them. Halfway through our dinner, we had a couple of cute little kittens cozy up to us looking for some food and some lovin'.
Three and a half (car sickness-inducing) hours later, we finally made it back to Rethymnon. We got back to our porch and were greeted by these two awesome stray cats. (Cretans really like cats and so there are stray cats all over the place that will come up to you and hang out for a while because they want to be fed and petted). So we gave them some milk.
After dinner we all went back to my place to take a nap. Everyone fell asleep except me (damn you, coffee at dinner!). Chris fell asleep on the couch and I woke him up by throwing my roommate's cat, Herman, on him. (Yet more animal abuse).
Bwa-hahahah! That's my roommate's cat, Herman. He's only sort of a cat because he's really more like a dog. I was putting a new garbage bag on the garbage can and when I was flailing the bag around to open it up, Herman became very interested in the bag...a leeeetle too interested...and so I scooped the leeetle fugger up. Here he is four minutes later after he finally manged to claw open a hole for his head. (How about I just make it easy for you?)
Even Robot, Lauren's cat, was feeling the love. She decided to express it by humping the living shit out of a stuffed animal in the corner. So busted.Smoochy, smoochy.
