Sunday trash day.
trash
Was walking Maddy on Saturday and someone had put this awesome shelving unit out for trash! Scooped it right up and put it in the living room! SCORE!
trash
Admired all the discarded trees on the sidewalk on my walk over to the West Village...
trash
Maddy's low-clearance means she has low tolerance for being out in the snow. She usually makes it about thirty feet before wanting to head home.
trash
Made this saucy little sculpture! I named him CROORS!
trash
Faaaack.
trash
...to dirt roads passing by garbage dumps on fire.
trash
Rocks glass in the trash! Stay classy Friday night, Soho crowd!
trash
Haha.
trash
On the walk home from Bleecker Street, we came across and old school HOBO FIRE raging in a garbage can.
trash
Become your dream, Trashman. Become your dream.
trash
The sides of most of the streets are lined with trash and there are roaming packs of goats that EAT THE TRASH! It's equal parts adorable and terrible. Hahaha.

Right as I decided to call it a night and head home, Leigh and I noticed that there was a big lump moving around inside of the garbage bag that was on the street in front of us. I got up off the steps to investigate! I started petting the big lump through the bag and confirmed that it was a giant rat trying to get out! We both screamed and retreated back to the steps and spend the next three minutes watching the rat try to maneuver his way out. (He ended up chewing a tiny hole and then quickly pushing his rat body out of it! I was too slow on the draw to get a photo). And that's the end of my 30th birthday party. Woooo! Happy Birthday, me!

The dancefloor aftermath.

Watching them, I couldn't help think to myself "What kind of asshole thinks diving into a pile of trash is remotely funny?"
trash
We stepped out onto Ludlow St to head over to karaoke only to witness these two yabbos kidding around by throwing each other into bags of trash.
trash
After leaving, and solely for the benefit of Siege, I dived into a giant pile of hot garbage.

Bwa-hahahah! That's my roommate's cat, Herman. He's only sort of a cat because he's really more like a dog. I was putting a new garbage bag on the garbage can and when I was flailing the bag around to open it up, Herman became very interested in the bag...a leeeetle too interested...and so I scooped the leeetle fugger up. Here he is four minutes later after he finally manged to claw open a hole for his head. (How about I just make it easy for you?)
