Every once in a rare while, you still get a glimpse of the New York of yesteryear when you get picked up by a real-world version of MTV's Jimmy the Cab driver.
I needed to get out of the heat so around midnight I went up onto the roof to get some fresh air and to check out the awesome view of Manhattan (the warehouse was right on the river).
