Taking Back Sunday was up first. Matt hooked us all up with backstage passes and awesome free seats right next to the stage in a private section. Faaaaancy!
The show was great. And it's really interesting to watch the show from the wings of the stage and get the same vantage point of the crowd that the band has. I can't even imagine what it feels like to have a crowd cheer you on when you're doing your job. Haha.
So on Sunday afternoon, I meet up with Gurj and we head to the Port Authority to catch a bus out to the Meadowlands. On the bus ride over, I find out from Gurj that Matt's band is huge (Hi, I'm old!) and that they were the band that was headlining the entire festival!
