Here's a picture of Grant getting ready to drop in from up above. The mountain is so steep that when you're facing uphill you only have to bend your knees slightly to be kneeling on the mountain! Later that afternoon it was snowing near the top of the mountain again. ...and there was another foot or so of fresh snow! Here's the view from middle of the journey where the gondola is at it's peak height of 1,430 feet above the ground. (To put that in perspective, the Empire State Building is1,454 feet tall) Later that afternoon, we met up with Matt! Unbelievable. About to ride over the edge of the world!
