Actually, I stand corrected. This hand-blown DRAGON BOWL is the one more-expensive item in their store. Pretty sweet, though. $749.99? WORTH IT!

Looked out the window to find the paper mache dragon I'd seen my neighbors making in the garden a few days earlier! Looked really great after being painted!

Rolando and some other artists were making a giant paper-mache dragon for an upcoming street parade!

Cool, Dracaenaen door-knocker. (A dracaena is the mermaid's lesser-known, half-lady, half-dragon counterpart!)

Personal fave.

One last awesome outdoor shower courtesy of DRAGON STATUE SHOWER HEAD!

So, you know, don't take all this all that seriously.

...the water came out of the top dragon's mouth.

...and then more carved, wooden doors that opened to an outdoor shower. Complete with a statue of a three-headed dragon...

But hey, at least we got to see a giant golden dragon fountain.

Eff you!

ROWR! Hahaha.

At some point in the night, Leigh and I ended up snooping around in the basement (as we're wont to do....NOSY!) and we ended up finding one of those dragon heads that they wear in Chinatown when they do their whole "conga line dragon" thingy for Chinese New Years!
dragon
Stop looking so stylish in that thing, Leigh! You don't want to start a dragon-head fashion trend, do you? (Er, wait. Actually, I want that to turn into a trend more than anything else in the world. On second thought, keep that thing on!)

Afterwards, I ended up in a bookstore where I found this amazing book of magazine ads from the 1980s. Check out this fucking AMAZING ad for a clothing store called Chess King. A dragon? Curly-haired muscle dude wearing headphones and holding a broken chain in one hand and an oiled, topless slut with a ceremonial dagger strapped to her leg in the other?
