And went back across the street to the airport. See you later, Nicaragua!

On the plane I ended up sitting next to Matt (who was the person responsible for organizing the trip) and Lara. Here's Matt busting out a map of Korea to show me the location of the two different camps that we'd be teaching English at.

So now I should probably talk about the drink known only as "THE BUCKET." This is pretty much the only thing that people drink at party spots in Thailand. They take a plastic beach pail with a little ice in it, then dump in two bottles of Red Bull (and keep in mind, this is the original Thai version of Red Bull that feels like it actually has amphetamines in it), a can of Coke, and an entire pint of Thai whiskey. They they throw in 7 or 8 straws in the hopes that you'll share it with strangers and not die drinking the entire thing by yourself. Any where you go on the beach, someone has a bucket and they're only too happy to share it with you. Cost per bucket? $3. Ooof.

Me in "The Hat." Yoooooooo.

MISSING PHOHTOS (oh no!)
After the Farmer's Market, Grant and I bid the Martin's farewell and embarked on a two-stop, six day trip. First up to San Fran to rendez vous with the Fatty (who had flown into SF earlier last night) and then the three of us were going to head to North Fork, California (just outside of Yosemite) and spend five days at Jordana and Ross' house located on a 4,000 acre ranch! Normally I'd have a ton of pics of the drive up, but in a far too common display of total incompetence, I somehow managed to reformat one of my camera's memory cards and about 50 pictures that I had taken with my second (and thankfully, less-used) camera.

The whole idea of stopping in Iceland on the way to London had been Grant's idea. So right up until this point we'd been laughing at the irony of the fact that he'd been missing out on all the fun - but the Blue Lagoon was so amazing that it just stopped being funny. Sorry you weren't there to see it with us, Lil' Buddy! We missed you! After we were done up taking pics on the hill, we climbed down, grabbed our car and headed back towards the airport at Keflavik.

Vin being a good sport about his uncanny resemblance to the guy on the newpaper vending machine.
