Backup singers! They even pulled out all sorts of old school costume performances! Oh, Axl! David K and Shandi Shandi! All emphatic karaoke performances require at least one "kneeling" portion. Shandi on the mic! The place was pretty much packed with all people I didn't recognize...at least until Shandi took with stage to sing a duet with Kareem (who I don't know but I like his photography a lot). They killed it. ...prompts for the audience (er, Shandi) to sing along to the chorus... Shandi on the mic. ...totally got the crowd (er, or at least Shandi and I) singing along.
