stairs
Yep.
stairs
Later that night, I helped Tinny carry some piece of furniture she found on the street up all five god-damned flights of stairs up to her apartment! It was just a furniture kind of day!
stairs
The five-flight tromp.
stairs
After Luke and Leroy kicked us out so they could lock up, we all headed over to Jenny Penny's new apartment for an afterhours!
stairs
...directly below the "Striptiis Baar." Hmmmm...for some reason this strange Estonian word piqued my interest.
stairs
Afterwards, we went to some crazy-ass loft party somewhere near Hester and Grand.
stairs
I couldn't get enough of Grant's moustache and was snapping off pics like his personal paparazzi.
stairs
After the party on the roof had died down a bit, we headed downstairs to John and Terri's apartment.
stairs
After walking around the cliff's edge for awhile, we wandered over to check out the remains of the bunkers and gun embattlements built into the hills.
stairs
Weed and a Squirrel up the stairs!
stairs
Sure enough, I soon found this. Hahahah. That's Leigh pushing me down the stairs. (You can tell it's her because of the little Tyrannosaurus arms).
stairs
After a few knocks, it was clear that no one was going to answer. We figured that maybe everyone was out on the balcony deck with DLR and they couldn't hear us. We decided to head up to the roof and see if we'd be able to get a vantage point of the party from there.
stairs
Vin and Amber tried to sneak out unnoticed at 4am! Busted!
stairs
When Mike went upstairs to go to his apartment, he discovered that someone (who'd apparently spend the majority of the evening drinking red wine) had make a big purple mess right outside his door. When I apologized on behalf of the unknown guest, Mike shrugged and earned the Fonzie thumbs-up of Coolness by shrugging and replying "Who cares? This is why I own a mop!"
stairs
The carved rock steps leading down to the cave entrance.

Later that night Count Beachula was a good enough friend to go all the way out to Greenpoint with me to interview potential new subletters for my old apartment in Brooklyn. Apparently, they're all about plants there now. Check out the view of the kitchen from the top of the staircase. (For all y'all that are new to the site, back in 2000, me and three friends of mine from college signed a five year lease on an empty loft - we converted it into a two-storey, four bedroom apartment, and since moving to Manhattan, I rent out my room there).
stairs
After dinner we headed out to a roofparty in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Check out the rickety-ass flight of stairs up.
stairs
Here's us in the stairwell with Joey Cavella after being let out by the elevator repair guy. (When we called Joey to tell him we were stuck in the elevator, he was out partying and was a little drunk and thought we were fucking with him. He was all like "Yeah, so you want me to come down to the office and open the door because you're stuck? Yeah right!", then hung up! It took us three calls to convince him that we weren't kidding).
stairs
Grant strikes a manly, mountain-guy pose on the stairs.
stairs
The spiral staircase and skylight (taken from the hallway outside Barlow and my bedrooms).
stairs
This was taken from right out side my room. Those glow lights and our little computer nook (above the exit sign) over looks the kitchen.
stairs
...Neil Perry!
