You know it's an early stage start-up... ...if they've got me drawing product-page UX notes for the CTO! Went into Voray to wrap up my work with them for the year! Thanks for having me! Fun to watch you guys grow! Love me a workin lunch. On Tuesday I went into Preo to help them do some road map work. Went into Voray on Monday afternoon. Spent Thursday afternoon at LeagueApps helping them plan to hire more staff! My favorite kind of work. Went into LeagueApps and they got a new fancy logo on the wall. We spent some time taking our pre-experiment guesses about the results... ...and mapping it against the actual results of the pilot we ran! Then took all the data and put it into a presentation for their investors! (If you work at a start up that could use some help with product, don't hesitate to reach out !) ...breakdown and report the results of a recent product launch in Bogata I'd helped them plan On Tuesday afternoon I went to Preo's offices to help them... The very next day I got ANOTHER email from LeagueApps' CEO that they'd just broken the transaction record AGAIN! (I'm still working with LeagueApps 3 years later and I'm happy to report that in September of this year, we hit the milestone of the BILLIONTH dollar transacted on their platform!) All those almost-million dollar days add-up! Headed into Preo in the afternoon to help their CEO map out a plan for the next month... ...with the rest of their team in Bogata. Got an awesome email from LeagueApps' CEO that the company had just broken the daily transaction record for the 3rd Monday in a row. Nothing more satisfying to me than helping a startup company grow! Went into Voray to help with some product work on Tuesday! Spent Tuesday whiteboarding with the founders of a Startup called Preo! LeagueApps' Board Meeting! Spent the afternoon working with LeagueApps! They get bigger every time I'm there! Trying to schedule time with busy people who work at start-ups... Monday night I went out for drinks with some of the guys from my favorite client, LeagueApps. Stopped by Slice for an after-work party. Fun to reunite with co-workers I loved worked with and hadn't seen in a long time! Awwww! ...and gave a nice speech thanking everyone who helped Yodle grow. Later that night, I out to dinner with the Yodle team to celebrate them getting totally bought-out a few weeks prior. Court was a wonderful emcee for the evening... ...strapped on the old nosebag and ate a serious amount of work. ...and the asked me questions about making software. Went to meet up with David & Duncan about Voray and helped them put together a plan for a functional product launch. Yay, whiteboarding! Voray launched the 2.0 version of their website Playing around with LinkedIn's API. ...helping LeagueApps put together a new process for how they make software! ...and laughing about his drawings of his 14 year-old self. On Wednesday afternoon I went over to the We Work space in Flatiron to meet up with David with his new start-up Voray! Excited to be involved in start-ups when they are less than 3 people. (Voray is still around and has over 30 employees today) ...and then my weekly one-on-one with Litty! Had my meeting with their product group... Looking good! Stopped by LeagueApps fancy new offices on Thursday! Wednesday work whiteboarding! Went to help one of my clients with quarterly planning. ...then headed down to the Financial District to meet up with a new real estate start-up client! Later Sunday evening, I biked over to Flatiron to participate in LeagueApps strategic company off-site! Always fun to see how my different clients try to deal with the crazy growth the comes along with running a successful start-up! On Thursday afternoon I met with the founding team of the startup ALICE and started helping them prepare for their Q1 board meeting Went into LeagueApps on Tuesday for my first day of work in 2016.
