On Monday, Quinn sent me the first working version of the crypto ping monitoring software we'd been working on! Always exciting to see something you dreamed up in your head turn into working software!
Spoiler alert - a few weeks after we got the first version of the software running....the bottom fell out of the alt-coin market (for the first time) and I decided to stop working on it. Lol. Was super-fun and interesting project for a while tho!
On Monday I had to stop by both Slice and Voray. I love working with startups that are at different stages of growth and seeing how they change over time. On my way out of Slice, I took this photo of their impressive sales countdown board....
Vin, "Hey, hey, take a picture of me." Me, "Why, what are you doing." Vin (whispers) "I'm Legolas." (I went ahead an linked that just in case there are any non-virgins who read this site and still want to be in on the joke).
Went into Voray for the afternoon and helped them whiteboard their sales process so they could set up Salesforce to better understand their sales pipeline.
...giving an update on the company's growth to their investors and board members. I love that I get invited into start-ups and get to help them put together plans to grow and hire more people! So many exciting developments but all I could think about was...
More whiteboarding with Voray helping them map out their Salesforce process so they'd have better communication between their Sales & Customer Success teams.
Whiteboarding with Voray. Fun to help a start-up understand how they are currently identify, selling & acquiring new customers and where there are the best opportunities to improve.
Nice to see how my different software clients come up with different ways to try to memorialize the culture and the milestones of the business as they experience rapid growth.
Then took all the data and put it into a presentation for their investors! (If you work at a start up that could use some help with product, don't hesitate to reach out!)
The very next day I got ANOTHER email from LeagueApps' CEO that they'd just broken the transaction record AGAIN! (I'm still working with LeagueApps 3 years later and I'm happy to report that in September of this year, we hit the milestone of the BILLIONTH dollar transacted on their platform!) All those almost-million dollar days add-up!
Got an awesome email from LeagueApps' CEO that the company had just broken the daily transaction record for the 3rd Monday in a row. Nothing more satisfying to me than helping a startup company grow!
