My Dad's 60th Birthday!

Holy Moly! Big Bri (yes, that makes me "Lil' Bri") hit the big six-oh! I headed out to New Jersey on Saturday afternoon to celebrate!

A few weeks prior to my dad's birthday, I called him and asked him what he wanted for his birthday. When I'd been home for the holiday in December, I'd brought my Wii along and my loved the golf game...so he told me he wanted a Wii for his birthday! (This was back when Wiis were pretty much impossible to find, but I put a couple of extra to dollars to work on eBay and managed to get one for the birthday boy!). We set it up immediately and got our Wii golf on! Here's the birthday boy getting ready to tee off!

My dad's brother Bruce (aka "Uncle Moose!") was there to tee off with him (Just like in real life!).
After we'd finished playing a few rounds of Wii golf, it was time to head to The Barn (the restaurant in my hometown that's the site of impromptu class reunions every year at Thanksgiving!) for a birthday dinner!

And last but not least, yours truly with Aunt Elaine. (My little brother was away from work and couldn't make it. Bad son! Bad son!)

After we finished eating, it was time for cake and presents!

After the cake had been doled out, it was time for presents. Check out my dad subtly flipping the bird because of all the "You're Old!" cards he got. Hahahah.

Notable gift of the night included Uncle Wayne's sick "Superdude" jersey...

...and the necktie he received from Aunt Sue. Which upon closer examination...

After dinner, we headed back to my parents place and played Wii until the wee hours of the night! Here's my mom and Elyse squaring off in tennis. Happy 60th, Dad! I love you!
