Karaoke with Seth

Our friend Seth (yep, the one of "Boys Weekend Parts One and Two" notoriety) was in town from Boston (where his fancy-ass runs a big ol' software company). To celebrate, we put the word out the wire for a night of karaoke mayhem at Fez. Despite a torrential downpour, the gang all showed...and things got a little out of hand.

frank, seth — Frank and Seth, soaked from the rain - at our lil' table in the corner.

grant — Grant took the stage and poured some sugar all over us (don't worry, it was in the name of love).

grant, tara — Grant and Tara as the Hatsy Twins.

seth — Seth slayed the audiece with kick-ass version of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition."

frank, grant — At Grant's request, Frank treated us to a little demonstration of his very special style of "dancing."

colin, frank, seth, tara — As the night gained momentum, we abandoned our little table in the corner and took over the couch directly in front of the stage. Here's Frank, Seth, Colin and Tara.

frank — I don't even remember what Frank sang (which again, is why I either need to start taking notes or not wait 3 months before I try to caption these pics), but take a look at his face and you'll probably agree that the song is irrelevant.

colin, frank, grant — Same goes for this one.

colin, frank, grant, me — Yep, and this one too. (Although, now that I think about it, I think we all might have been singing the four-part back up bit to Aerosmith's "Love In An Elevator" in these last two.)

grant, tara — Grant and Tara smooching. That's Tara's signature smooch! It's almost the same one...

tara — ...she gave to a video game gun when she was in a Stussy ad! (minus the GAY hat....hahahahah).

matt l, me — Now, most of you probably don't know this about me, but I have a pinhead. No, really. I do. And I guess it doesn't look tiny because when I tell people about it, they never believe me - or at least they don't until I take someone's normal-sized hat and put it on and SHAZAM! Pinhead! Check out Matt cackling at my tiny head swimming in Grant's hat.

frank — Clearly the breakaway star of the evening, here's Frank doing an impression of his very own "salute dance" that made its first appearance when he sang "The Stroke" at heavy metal karaoke two years ago.

frank — And then he treated us to even more "Frank dancing." (You should probably take the above image and save it to your desktop - that way, the next time you're feeling down, happiness is only a double-click away.)

colin, frank — So every once in a while, one of my friends will pull an expression in a photo that just begs to be Photoshopped into something else. Case in point - Frank and Colin were joking around and were pretending to flip a table and and then the next thing you know...

frank — ...THE TRUTH ABOUT FRANK is revealed!

colin, matt lesser — Matt Lesser and Colin.

frank, grant, me — Frank, me, and Grant.

matt lesser, tara — Tara actually drank enough to be coerced up on stage to sing (and the hat? Well, she's from Texas, she'd probably wear that hat to church sober).

grant, me, seth — I have no idea why I'm pulling that face - maybe I was singing?

tara — Cowgirl Tara.

grant, seth — Just call on me brother when you need a friend. (This picture makes me happy too).

matt lesser, seth, tara — But not nearly as happy as this picture makes me. There's too much going on for me to even write about (but I do need to at least mention Seth's gratuitious cupping of Matt's tits).
