Tuesday, June 18th was also the day investigative war-reporter Michael Hastings was killed in a very suspect single-car crash. RIP Michael Hastings. (If you don't know his story, he's definitely worth reading-up on).
Apparently, unbeknown to us, earlier in the day, someone had climbed the other side of the NYT building and this was the SECOND free-climber to scale the same building in a several-hour span!
And here's a shot looking north up Broadway. The traffic lights were all out so people were just walking in the street. The amount of noise coming from the street was incredible.
