mandy — Then Mandy came up for a birthday-boy duet!

mandy — Soooo good!

mandy — On Thursday night I went to see Mandy and Stellastarr* play a show at an art gallery opening somewhere in midtown.

mandy — Happy Birthday, Mandy!

mandy — Fast-forward a little more than a week later (Meredith and I went on vacation to the Cayman Islands!) and it turns out I arrived back in town just in time to attend Mandy Tannen's birthday party! She may be the birthday girl...

mandy — ...but I'll always be her little birthday princess!

mandy — Here's Siege pretending he's shocked by Mandy giving the monkey the ball-cup from underneath reach-around!

mandy — The monkey turned out to be a big hit! Here's Mandy posing with my birthday monkey!

mandy — I'd invited a few of my co-workers to stop by and Piotr was the first of a few to arrive on the scene. Here he is with Mandy!

mandy — And the entire time all this was going on, that smile didn't leave that monkey's face for even a second!

mandy — Mandy swooped right in and got down to business. (Monkey business! Ha!)

mandy — After we closed out the Annex, Lawrence headed home and Mandy and I got pizza! (What's better than the fact that Rosario's is still open at 4:05am on Thursday?)

mandy — In the midst of Mandy's Gun Show, Jeffrey spotted us from across the room and literally, crashed our party! Haha.

mandy — Later that night, I went over to the Annex to meet up with Mandy (who I hadn't seen in AGES).
