I think I found my look. On our way out of town, we spotted a big thrift store and stopped off to do some costume shopping for Ty's New Year's Eve party. Last year's theme was Great Gatsby ... ..until we found the "Large Assortments" section. This is pretty much the only kind of shopping trip I can get excited about. We wound our way through the maze of a store... Three hours later, we'd arrived and drove straight to NSR to... Every time I see these in the store... More truckstop tees. After eating, we admired all of the fine fantasy weapons available for purchase in the gift shop. Our dollar store had some pretty choice finds. Hand sanitizer available in both cloudy and clear! If you need a conversation-piece corner table and / OR a bucket, that's in aisle seven. Whoa! See? They also had shirts that were basically a test to see if your parents are paying attention. ...went to B&H to buy myself a 35th birthday present! ...an air mattress and some sheets to make up an extra bed in the living room! "Dude, did you know Walmart has a LARPing aisle ?" After our grooming entertainment was finished, we headed to Target to pick up... Look at Gurj's face when she walked into Amoeba Records! The main difference between younger me and older me is that older me leaves clutch vintage store finds like these unpurchased for other fashion-forward falcons to find! After years of renting and borrowing... Later that afternoon, I went to B&H Photo. Hahah
