Before heading to the house, we made a quick stop at the grocery store so that we could pick up some food... OOOOOOATS. The best thing about having an August birthday is that you can invite people to the beach to celebrate your birthday! A little before noon, we met up with Matt and Karen at the CVS by the 1st Ave subway to stock up on beach supplies... Peter scored big with Slip 'N Slide: EXTREME! Haha. Make up! Most of us do like 90% of our shopping in tiny, dingy bodegas so Target is so clean and huge and well-stocked it's overwhelming. We had decided to drive to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom but needed to stop at Target on the way over to pick up snacks and party supplies first. This is the only bathing suit in the entire store that they had in a size "Medium." Faaaack. After showing me the house, we headed back north to pick up Meredith at the bridal shower. I forgot to bring a bathing suit so my dad took me to Walmart so I could buy one on the cheap. On Saturday morning, we walked over to St. Marks to stock up on cheapo $5 sunglasses... Monday after work I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought new bed-linens and window blinds for our new apt! Afterwards, I went to Whole Foods to pick up...
