The bar was hot and way over-crowded (what with the free ice cream and all). We worked our way into a hidden corner and our exploration was rewarded with the discovery of an industrial-strength fan. A simple flick of the switch turned that shit into a Whitesnake video situation right-quick.
On the way home we visited Lisa in Nolita who was working on opening a new clothing store called Court. All of us were in the tiny back office that had an electric fan on the floor pointed upwards - which everyone know instantly forces girls to pretend they are in a Whitesnake video. Awesome!
Later, we enjoyed the windy afternoon admiring the view our affords of the East River. Here's Meredith showing off the two "dinosaur sew-on patches" she'd recently purchased.
There were hurricane (typhoon) warnings that night and the wind was so strong out on the balcony that we were able to lean back into it was all of our weight and it would temporarily prop you up for a second or two. (The wind also apparently caused us to make awesome faces).
And then Grant impressed us with his pole tricks. (Actually ladies, this is only one of his "pole tricks." He'll happily show you his other if you ask next time you see him.)
