Last half-week of work with my client before taking off the rest of the year! On my way home I stopped off at Spin NYC to watch the Singleplatform gang get WAY too serious about ping pong! Here's the very end of the Jeff G / Stanley SHOWDOWN! I love me some good whiteboarding! (This wasn't even mine, just took a pic to admire it). Client-suggested reading materials. Fun to come back to work for my client and see things much more organized the next week! I always enjoy seeing the methods that people come up with in order to make things run more smoothly! On Tuesday morning I got to watch InRhythm come in and coach the SinglePlatform dev & product team on Agile. Thursday morning award ceremony for all the people in the company who did the most good stuff! ...for a team outing with the SinglePlatform tech & product teams. We got our frisbee on. Loooong time since someone's given me a dedicated desk! On Tuesday I started an eight-week consulting engagement with SingplePlatform. Fired up my winter-blues-busting lightbox and... The weird feeling of checking into a hotel in the middle of an office park awaiting to attend a meeting that you don't know much about = the life of a self-employed consultant. ...had to drive down to Santa Clara.
