...to find that we'd locked ourselves out. Chris quickly demonstrated that if you're fit enough to surf that waves, you're also fit enough to easily break into the condo!
I thought that having pet rats would be similar to having a hamster or a gerbil - that they'd just sort of be things that sat in a cage looking cute. But in the first few weeks of having them, I was amazed by how smart and friendly and genuinely interested in people they were! They're like teeny tiny dogs! Hahaha.
Lacking both the lower-body flexibility to execute a proper DLR kick and the upper-body strength (believe it or not!) to hold myself horizontal from the signpost long enough for someone to take a picture of it, I had to resort to the really lame "Look at me I'm hanging from a window" pose. Booooo-ring!
Not wanting to make me feel bad, Chris was quick to throw down with a quick "See, not only pussies have to hang from window?" show of solidarity. What a fuggin guy, eh?
Chris (being a ninja and all) out of the blue decided to climb the giant, bronze lion statue. Evenutally (with much more difficulty) the rest of us managed to climb up there with him, but I can't find the picture of all four us up there (which is a good thing because a picture of the four of us snuggled up riding a lion statue would be so gay that if I posted it on the world wide net there'd be a risk that it could cause a chain reaction and turn the entire world gay).
Saturday night Vin and I headed out to Billyburg to meet up with a bunch of our friends at some Fader Magazine party - but by the time we got done at the BQE Lounge, the party had gotten busted up by the cops. So instead we met up with Dave G The Ladies Choice at Rockstar bar and then headed over to see his new (ridiculous) apartment. Then we went up on his roof...and from there climbed up onto the billboard tower that runs right next to...
After Grant got a look at the pics he took of me looking for the hatch he said "Hey, you look cool up there! Now take some pictures of me! I want to climb up there and look cool too!" (Yeah, too bad you think I'm kidding). What could I do but humor the kid....
