After my little nappy nap, Grant and I headed down to Eastern Eye to pick up the enormous order of Indian food we'd ordered for dinner (where I managed to snap this sick-ass photo of Grant's superb rendition of the rarely seen sideways variation of the DLR [that's Mr. Lee Roth, to you son] air kick.)

If you thought you loved the original, wait until you get a load of the sequel: Grant jumping off the rock, PART II!

If you've ever played Frisbee with Grant, you'd know that he thinks he's Michael Jordan. Seriously. Instead of ever just taking a few steps back to catch the frisbee, he'll stay exactly where he is and try to jump and catch it. Since Grant is 68" tall, the letter "a" here represents approximately 36" (a little more half of his body). The letter "b" represents the approximate reach of Grant's arms outstreched. And the letter "c" represents the remaining 33" of pure vertical leap he'd require to catch the frisbee. Somebody get this kid a trampoline.

After we were done with the laser show, he headed back to the streets to look for something fun to do. Having totally given up on any of us scoring some "Haha" for the night, we decided to do what we do best: Take. Stupid. Pictures. Yeah! Here's Grant doing his first DLR-Kick (That's David Lee Roth) on (off?) Cretan soil.

Saturday night was slow - so Grant and I walked around Chinatown and decided to take pictures. The night's theme: ACTION! Here's Grant doing a double-footed flying kick at a pile of fruit boxes.

More appropos to Chinatown, here's the spinning back-kick version.

Success! Grant pulls off the slight more difficult "Panama" variation of the DLR kick. Noice!

This is my new fave pic of Grant. He looks like an eight year-old on Christmas morning.

... their DLR (David Lee Roth) kicks! Check out Grizzle in the background. Haha.

Here's the lesser-seen "sideways DLR (that's David Lee Roth, playa) kick."
