Spritzed the roses with water to try to make them last a little longer. Dusted off an old vase I found stashed away in the cupboard. Beauties. Roses for my pigeon-vanquishing hero. Maddy is really good at stalking pigeons. She sneaks up on them all slow and low and then pounces! The church down the street had put out a bunch of free flowers. I grabbed a few of the lovely white roses. He batted those pretty brown eyes at me from across the table while using 4SQ to announce our love to the interwebs. Went out to Williamsburg to meet Vin for a lonely hearts club Valentine's Day KOREAN FEAST! Valentine's flowers... Happy Valentine's Day! On Friday I brought Meredith flowers! She is pretty. I am lucky. Later that night I went over to Sarah's to help her make a few of the 500 Nightmare of You singles she was handmaking and decorating with real rose petals for the one of the earlier releases she did on her Stolen Transmission label (this is well before Island / Def Jam agreed to be her distributor!) And a bow. You definitely can't leave out the bow. ...the fake-rose and fuzzy white bear set up on our table. I ran into Amber who sang into a rose for the last of Sarah's wonderful set.
