Hahaha. LAZERBOWL! On Thursday afternoon, we left the work early and walked (in the FRIGID windy cold) over to Lucky Star lanes for Yodle's tech & product winter party! ...Joel and Court still up at the hotel bar - we piled into a taxi and headed out for one last drink before last call! I was out in LA to attend BIA/Kelsey's Interactive Local Media conference on behalf of Yodle! On Tuesday afternoon, I found myself in a cab headed to the airport to fly to LA for work. On Thursday night I went to Yodle's Holiday Party! In 2009, the company had added more than another 100 employees and had to be held in an even larger venue. We took it nice and easy compared to last year's extra-drunk ankle-spraining extravaganza ! Rental car. I was out in Dayton meeting with the The Berry Company (a meeting which eventually led to a big strategic partnership between them and Yodle. Woohoo). On Wednesday afternoon I had to fly out to Dayton, Ohio for Yodle . Work stuff. (White board photo from a meeting that would eventually result in a service that helps businesses get found online . We finished the second day around 4:30 in the afternoon. Leaving Tarrytown. By the time we were done with dinner and drinks, it was almost 10:30! At least Mr. Sketch was there. This is the pool that I didn't get to swim in because I was in brainstorming and strategic planning meetings all day! Boo! The off-site was at this beautiful estate in Tarrytown. The account managers at Yodle broke into teams that all have awesome names and posters like Clicky Business here. Haha. Aw, yeah! Friday after work we went out to celebrate Aziza's birthday! Just a random picture I snapped at work because it's four people I really like working with. On Thursday afternoon I headed out to NJ with Mike DeLuca, Yodle's head of sales to pitch a large client about a partnership. The menu maze at the diner where we ate lunch was a real brain buster. Put 'em back. ...and met up with my co-workers Dennis, Igor and Ian. After work on Thursday, I went out drinking with a bunch of my Yodle co-workers. On Tuesday our whole office stopped working to watch Obama get sworn in... After a year and a half of commuting to an office next to the Port Authority bus terminal, I was really looking forward to commuting to Flatiron (which is a nicer neighborhood and way closer to our East Village apt). On Monday afternoon I got to go over to check out the new offices that Yodle would be moving into in a couple of days.
