Hello, Flatiron! See you later, smelly Port Authority office!
yodle
At the end of work on Monday we all had to pack up our desks. Yodle was growing crazy-fast and we'd completely out grown both floors in our office and we're moving to a huge space on 23rd St and 6th Ave.
yodle
Alex and Igor.
yodle
Kelsey (giving Scott the old "can you believe how drunk this guy is?" point), Scott and Ian.
yodle
Bar's still OPEN!
yodle
Is this my drink? I love this photo so much. Party on, party soldier.
yodle
Hahaha. This is my favorite photo of the night. Bonus points to Berk for STILL having the Cosby sweater on.
yodle
Our co-worker Ed showed up wearing one of his signature "non-ironic Cosby sweaters" to the party and when he took it off, it immediately got re-appropriated by other attendees. Here's Aziza rocking the Coz!
yodle
Court and John Berk! The open bar ended at 11pm, but Court made an executive decision to throw down some plastic and keep the party train rolling. Yes! Love how the Cosby sweater has made it over to John at this point.
yodle
Dance floor throw down!
yodle
Evan, Aziza, Vlad and Igor.
yodle
Aziza and Mer on the dance floor. This is the last picture of Meredith that I have from this party. A couple of minutes later, she demanded my co-worker Alex dip her on the dance floor and Meredith fell and SLAMMED her ankle against the corner of a step that was on the edge of the recessed dance floor! It really hurt so she decided to take a cab home. (She totally forgot that's she'd left her WALLET and KEYS in my jacket and went through HELL trying to get home on her own. My cell phone was in my jacket in the coat check room and I didn't find all this out until the next morning. Bad, drunk boyfriend for not accompanying her home!)

Court and me!

Thursday night was the Yodle Holiday Party!
yodle
On Wednesday night the senior leadership team at Yodle went out for a holiday dinner. Milind, John, Nathaniel, Berk, Ed, Pablo, Ben, Aziza, Court and Joel.

Most people I know have a hard time imagining what I do for a living. The details of it look like this. Exactly.
yodle
Monday morning. Our dev team doubled in size in less than a year so we had to buckle down and figure out how to keep our Agile software development methodology running smoothly without taking up too much time in administrative overhead.
yodle
At the office a bunch of people dressed up - but all costumes took a backseat to Aziza totally SLAYING Thiller-era MJ. So perfect.
yodle
It's fun to work at a place where everyone is totally down with the company! (All this enthusiasm is no doubt the reason behind Yodle ranking 35th on the Inc. 500 2010 list, a compilation of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing privately held companies in America! Yay!)
yodle
Spell Y-O-d-l-E.
yodle
On Friday afternoon, a bunch of my co-worker's wanted to take a picture of the new Yodle shirts we'd just gotten so that our recently opened Charlotte office could check them out. Ready?
yodle
The building has fancy lobby chairs that no one sits in ever.
yodle
Kent!
yodle
A bunch of people were traveling so we got to camp out in office that was one of the corners of the pyramid! Oooooh!
yodle
My co-worker Ian and I were walking into the building when were alarmed by the unique stenciling on the office building's doors. Things are a little, uh, different in the south. Every time I look at Ian's eyes, I laugh. Hahaha.
yodle
Yodle's North Carolina office is housed in an awesome building that looks like an Egyptian pyramid that's had its top cut off.
yodle
Everybody ready?
yodle
Setting up for the big, Yellow Pages gladiator fight-sequence!
yodle
Just a phone book gladiator hanging out at his desk. No big deal.
yodle
You know, sitting in a chair made out of phone books. No big deal.
yodle
Another shot of our phone book office!
yodle
On Thursday morning I got up super early and got the to office before 6am to help make a video about the yellow pages for work. Check out the office that we redecorated to be totally covered in Yellow Pages..complete with chair made entirely of phone books!
yodle
ACTION! Hahaha.
yodle
...and Ben wearing armor made out phone books.
yodle
In addition to an office decorated with phone books, we also had Jason...
yodle
Emanuel!
yodle
4pm. Resting up for the final match!
yodle
We've been playing painball for many hours and it is fucking EXHAUSTING! Not only are you running around full speed while carrying heavy gear, the fact that you're running through the woods and hunting other humans (and trying to to get avoid shot by the people hunting you because it HURTS) sends your adrenaline spiking through the roof every single game. It's intense.
yodle
The referee gathered us to explain the rules...
yodle
Probably not.
yodle
Who cares? PAINTBALL!
yodle
That's probably not really going to happen, right?
yodle
Emanuel stepping off the bus and tying on the sea-foam green bandana that signifies the kickoff of his ritualistic paintball preparation proceedures! I'm actually just making that up. The truth is, he actually wears that bandana every day! Ha!
yodle
Aziza and Ben busted out a bottle of whiskey and we all had a few "warm-up sips" before existing the bus.
yodle
My new job has sales guys that keep track of their sales with magnet boards just like in the movies. COFFEE'S FOR CLOSERS!
yodle
Yodle helps service-based local businesses get new clients by advertising online (think doctors, lawyers, locksmiths, landscapers). I've been there almost two years and the 60-person company I joined has expanded into five offices and almost 400 employees! Holy moly!
yodle
On Monday, March 31st I started my new job at Yodle as the Director of Product.
