John's Karaoke Birthday

On Friday night I went to a Korean restaurant in the East Village for my buddy John's birthday party.

When I first arrived at the restaurant, there was no sign of anyone! I asked a waitress and she explained that the party was in a big room in the back where they had karaoke. Korean food and karaoke? YES! I found my way to the back room and ran right into the birthday boy! See the girl to his left?

Yep, her! That's Wendy! She and John were dating at the time - which was a real surprise to me because John is one mellowest guys I know, and Wendy is totally at the opposite end of the spectrum; as rowdy as John is quiet.
