...had to try to fill out an OKR form (objectives and key results) for one of my employers. After finishing work, I wrote some music! First you've got to go through the hardware and find all the correct pieces for the project you want... ...it really is just like really complicated Legos. Stayed up late into the night trying out the different projects in the Arduino book... Wiring up three different LED lights... ...then you spend time wiring them into the "bread board." (Let's you easily build a circuit by just plugging them into the board without having to solder all the connections.) With the circuit built and the code uploaded, it's time to TEST THE BUILD! ...and two different buttons. After finishing the hardware portion, you open the Arduino code editor and write code that you can upload to the computer-controller. Got my Arduino starter kit in the mail on Wednesday. Monday morning! Last half-week of work with my client before taking off the rest of the year! ...trying to take one of my little songs and record a multi-track version in Garageband. Oh, just 9 hours and 38 minutes. Well, then. Computer looks extra clean on top of my filthy desk! Later Sunday evening I walked down to the Soho Apple store and got a new computer for my home office! Sunday night I walked over to Ellen and Han's in the West Village... Spent Friday evening eating deli sammiches and... Adorable! Loooong time since someone's given me a dedicated desk! ...but then the next thing I knew... Spend the evening doing some photo editing on this website! ...while getting blue light shined directly into my eyes for 20 minutes. Take that, Seasonal affective disorder ! Got my new light box set up in my office and decided to watch an episode of House of Cards... On Sunday afternoon I went over to Jared & Gurj's to celebrate Jared's birthday!
