Me and Tookie. See that lake in the background? That's the lake the Tookie's house is on!

Half-way up, we stopped to rest.

Too bad living in NYC makes everywhere else seem weird. Around 7:30ish we pulled off the road in northeastern CT to get some dinner. Every place we stopped at was completely mobbed with people. We finally settled on Friendly's (which beyond being filled with a "not-so-Friendly" waitstaff, also had a 25 minute wait for a table). We elected to do the "smart" thing and eat outside. So instead of only waiting 25 minutes inside, we sat outside, freezing our asses off for 50 minutes waiting for our food...all the while listening to somebody's frigging car alarm go off in the parking lot. In the words of Isabella, "Oh, for Frank's sake! Turn that gosh darn thing off!"

From L to R: Joey, Lo, Tookie (aka - Isabella), Em and Me. (we took this pic by setting the timer and placing the camera on the dash).

I busy myself with a BBQ'ed hot dog while Tookie busies herself looking adorable.

Roadtripping Idgits.

Tookie totally tricked Grant into letting her have the front seat both ways by telling him that the backseat makes her feel carsick. HAHAHAHA! I can't believe he fell for that one. That's like the oldest "make you sit in the backseat" trick in the book. See what happens when you grow up without an older sibling?

Tookie and I console a plastered Alisa who'd just gotten severely repremanded for grabbing other dudes' packages.
