Later that afternoon, Mer and I went to the pool to enjoy some Florida sunshine. See you later, mini palace! And there was an shaded pagoda in the middle of the pool. Gargoyle fountains flowed into the pool. The grounds in front of the bedroom were even more insane! We cooled off with a quick dip in the pool, and then packed up our things and headed off to the REALLY fancy hotel we booked for our final two nights in Bali. Later that afternoon, we hung out at the resort's pool. I got up early on Monday morning and went for a swim. Overdo it much? The tea garden was massive. It was a giant, walled lilly-filled pond that had bridge-accessible "island pagodas" for enjoying tea. Another perfect day. After our swim, we decided to try out the little shaded beds next to the pool. Went out onto our porch... ...and rinsed off in our little pool surrounded by plants and flowers. Around 7:30 Mer woke up we walked over to the hotel's restaurant to get breakfast. Our bungalow shared a porch and a small pool with the bungalow next door. Later in the afternoon, I decided to really mix things up with a change of scenery and moved my feed up to the lounge chairs by the pool. Me, peeking over the edge of the edgeless pool. (Kilroy was here .) The next morning we woke up before 5am and went downstairs to swim in the hotel's gorgeous edgeless pool that's right down near the beach. (Meredith's in the pool, but you can see the ocean right behind her). Me, blowing out all my air and sinking to the bottom. I had brought along my camera's scuba case and snapped some underwater pics in the pool. Mer looking serene underwater. The view from our balcony after sunset. The view from our balcony. Wow. My parents had traded in some timeshares they had and got us all rooms at the lovely Stardust Lodge. By the time we were done with dinner and drinks, it was almost 10:30! This is the pool that I didn't get to swim in because I was in brainstorming and strategic planning meetings all day! Boo! Hahahaha. We'd worked up a big appetite, so around 7:30... Haha. Group shot. SWIM TO ME! After our serious trampolining, we moved the action to the pool to cool down. And a god-damn pool! Amanda and Scott. Ellen and Siege bikini shoot. It swims! ...the pool in the courtyard! Awww, yeah. The drive up was quicker than we expected leaving us with some time to catch a little sun and swim before the wedding. We found our way out to the pool...
