Later that night, we had a dinner on my parents porch and my mom brough out a birthday cake for me. She forgot to get birthday candles, so instead she substituted this 18" decorative candle that she found unused in a candlestick on the kitchen table. Hahaha.
Then later that afternoon, Sarah and I went to TeaNY to pick up Leigh's cake for her bday party later that night at Misshapes (those pics coming soon). Before we bought her a whole cake, we decided it'd probably be wise (ok, delicious) to sample a slice first.
Siege's mom sent up this King Cake from New Orleans. Every King Cake has a little plastic baby baked into it (which leads me to believe you can't be sued for negligence in the state of Louisiana) - if you get the piece of cake that has the baby - you win a prize. And in the case of Siege's birthday party, that prize would be a lapdance from the girl of your choice at...drumroll please...
