Yep, and this one too. (Although, now that I think about it, I think we all might have been singing the four-part back up bit to Aerosmith's "Love In An Elevator" in these last two.)
So we ended up having so much singing at Frank's that we decided to round up a crew and head to Nolita Tavern for some Saturday night Sid & Buddy Karaoke action. Emily Cmielewski was in town from Boston apartment hunting for a place in NYC so she came with Bev (who I also went to high school with) and met us there. (L to R: Bev, MLE, Grant, Fatty and Colin).
Big Daddy tearing it up with Huey Lewis' seminal "I Want a New Drug." Homeboy kicked it so hard he needed not one, but two blonde, hula-clad male dancers. Check out that face; the urgency - can't you see how much Big Daddy wants that new drug?
After everyone woke up we headed around the corner to meet up with the rest of the gang over at Nolita Tavern for Saturday night Sid and Buddy Karaoke.
"We're going to party Karamu, fiesta, forever! Come on and sing along!" Talk about lyrical foreshadowing, jeeeez! Colin (aka - "Big Daddy") stepped up to the stage and got the crowd feeling nice with his rendition of Lionel Ritchie's schmoking hit "All Night Long."
